And not for the jury members who claim to have felt sick and tearful when finding for Lady Anthony. And definately not for the State of Florida which has been made to look ridiculous.

So just who did come out of this debacle feeling vindicated? How can I live this way? Why Whiskey Wednesday, of course.

My mother was a drinker, and she didn't wait until a designated day. Every day was Wednesday for her. I hated her for it...but the more I look back, the more I wonder if she didn't just need what I need. My brother's house was damaged, but passed over for the most part. I told them that I was totally exhausted from the concentration it took to push that storm away from them. A while back, when the race for Governor of California was heating up, I was disturbed to see Gloria Allred trot out a pathetic victim of gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman's cruelty. (It turns out Niki Diaz's story of victimization was the pathetic part, but I digress) I was worried about California and how it was the people of that state's last chance (with me anyway) to prove that they weren't dunces of the highest order. Those people out there failed me as surely as they failed themselves. Jerry Brown is now the Governor of The Gilded State.

Now here I am again, watching and hoping for signs of life from a state not my own...the state of Wisconsin. The election for the Wisconsin Supreme Court is tomorrow, Apr 5, and the unions and liberal Dems are running something called a Hideengrouper at the folks in Wisconsin. Apparently this Higginlooper was an intern or something to the Wisconsin Supreme Court Chief Justice Shirley Abrahamson, who decided that it would cool to have her best friend forever on the Supreme Court, too. They are hoping to plug the hole in the State Supreme Court with another liberal so the unions can have their way with the state.

So, please, people of The Cheese State. Please be sensible and see through what Judge Abrahamson and hopeful judge Haegendaez are trying to do to your state. Just Say No. We're watching you from all over the country. This would appear to be your last chance for self-determination.

If Hazeltoomer wins tomorrow, I myself will go on a bender unlike any known to mankind, symbolically burying Wisconsin with a stake of holly in its heart, When the fog clears, I'm going to contact and agitate and donate any money and any time I can find to any Tea Party candidate in any state who'll take them. It's my fevered method of Just Saying No. Hey, my friends don't call me the Tasmanian Devil for nothing.

After listening to the Nancy Skinner interview...

...on Megan Kelly's show on Fox News, I've decided that Wisconsin is a lost cause. If the union folk can threaten businesses with boycotts if they don't hang a sign of union support, and these same unions can still find a radio talk show host to defend them by by saying they are within their First Amendment rights, I give up.

People of Wisconsin, listen to me!!! Get out while you can. Let the union folk have it. You have no chance. If their collective First Amendment Right to make you hang a sign of union support trumps your First Amendment Right to NOT hang that sign in your own business, it's over for the average non-union citizen. You are second...dare I say it?...third class citizens in your own state. Time to migrate to somewhere...anywhere... that isn't owned by these utterly blind and completely selfish workers. Leave them all behind to piss and paint each other and everything else in sight.

So many other states in the US would be thrilled to have your businesses, and the jobs they provide. Catch the next plane, or bus, or get together and carpool out...but get out.

I've heard many comparisons in our country lately to Nazis and how they took power. Some of those comparisons were clumsy and far-fetched, but I can say that your situation with these unions and their so-called First Amendment Right to force you to put up their signs is the closest thing I've seen to Nazi regime tactics yet.

If you need a little inspirational music to start you on your way, click the link below, and then click the button that opens. They wouldn't move the protestors out of the capitol building. They bullhorned and raised their fists in solidarity with the drum circle. (Can a "talking stick" be far behind? Although, that would be a blessing in disguise as only one of them could bellow at a time.) And how long did it take them to rescue the Republican legislator who was mobbed by the protestors?

I gotta tell you, folks, I’m no longer confident that if I need the police, they will show up. I don't sleep soundly in my bed anymore, sure in the knowledge that the police department is watching over my family. Do I still believe that old chestnut they hand around, that the members of the police department are there to Protect and Serve? Uh, Uh. Nope. Not anymore. Not after Wisconsin.

But it’s helped me come to an important decision. I'm going to arm myself, my family and my home. That’s right…guns. Big guns, small guns…whatever I can get my hands on. I don’t care if it is legal and I don’t care if it is right. In my mind, at this time, it is necessary.

I might even take to wandering neighborhoods, checking on the houses of family members and good friends. I could then invite some other disgruntled Americans who are watching this display of “solidarity and support” the police are displaying for the unions up there, to join me in my happy band of armed guardians.

Does that sound like vigilantism? You bet it does. If I don’t prepare to protect my family and myself, who will? The police department? I’m not willing to bet the lives of my children on the hope the police will come to my family’s aid…even if I need them when some of their “brothers and sisters” are protesting something. I don’t have that luxury anymore. Not after Wisconsin.

Being almost chronically honest and law-abiding (except for the random impure thought), I've had no need to distrust the police. If they arrested someone, or, God forbid, shot someone, I felt it was their job to know what was going on. I certainly didn't understand the situation they were in. I believed they must surely have a good reason to do what they did.

Now, I have to have doubts. If I read that a policeman shot a man coming out of, say, Walmart, I now wonder if maybe one of their "brothers and sisters" needed that guy out of the way. I hate these doubts. They make me feel unprotected and unsafe. I think that's what I resent the most...the newly narrowed eyes when I read those reports. I just don't know anymore.

I hear people talking about how important what is happening in Wisconsin is to the future of our country. I agree one hundred percent. It has certainly changed my future.

To the Wisconsin police: you are angering and frightening the American people. But as that seems to be okay with you, I can assure you it is also okay with me. I’ve turned the page on you and I know what to do. Thank you for a most valuable lesson.

Dear Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

I'm sorry. I know February is Black History Month, but this year is different. The racism you fought against in your lifetime has now become a running joke in this country. I just read an article that told of MSNBC anchor Lawrence O'Donnell saying the following...
"The Republican party is saying that the president of the United States has bosses, that the union bosses this president around, the unions boss him around. It is an accepted fact that Californians are a bit off the wall and kooky, but up to this point I have defended your previously undemonstrated innate intelligence. I've reasoned that the nuts and the kooks have to have a place to go, too, and California was available. But this Gloria Allred tear-jerking "Latina" maid thingy-ma-bob has got to be obvious even to the oblivious who migrated West and set up Hollywood.

So former governor Moonbeam wants to run your state again, does he? And the liberals are trying to convince you that this $23.00 an hour illegal alien maid debacle makes Jerry Brown the appropriate person to do that, right?

Now all you nuts and kooks out there just stop a minute and take a deep breath and try to think. How, on God's green earth, does this pathetic circus show do that? Just one fact that made any sense at all to a clear thinker would suffice. Just one.

Questions for your consideration: why was it bad for Ms Whitman to hire a Latina, as Nicky Diaz the maid seems to want to be labeled now, and pay her $ 23.00 an hour for 15 hours a week of work? (Keeping in mind that minimum wage is hovering just above $ 7.00 for the rest of the country, and working only 15 hours a week is patently pathetic.)

Although Ms Allred probably believes that she has scored some points for Mr. Moonbeam's candidacy, how did this little drama help the Latinas, and I'll throw in the Latinos, as well, to find work in California? Wouldn't employers now be a little leery to hire them even if they had the legal documentation required to work in this country? I wouldn't, would you? And be honest. You could do everything, at least everything in your power, to do the thing right and legal and still you are wrong. Not just wrong, but hounded by lawyers wrong.

When Ms Whitman found out Ms Nicky Diaz was illegal, she had to fire her to remain within the law, but she still did not report Ms Nicky to the authorities, thus allowing her to remain in the United States. That action seems misguided to clear thinkers who want to control illegal immigration, but to Californians who are determined to have all and sundry pop through the border and take over the state that probably should sound like a kindness. Does it sound kinder than Mr. Brown's agency that checks "twice a month" to make sure all his workers are legal? To these atrophied ears it does.

So I am totally confused about what California wants or what it thinks it needs. But it's not my place to decide. Unfortunately, that decision is up to you as residents of that state. If it were up to me, the entire populace out their would be spanked and sent to bed without supper. And Gloria Allred would be facing the wall with a mangled piece of chewing gum attached to her nose.

But that's just me.

September 11, 2001 Tribute...I Made This.

I have decided to undertake becoming proficient in the Flash software. According to Daisy Khan, the opposition to the Ground Zero Mosque is fueled by hatred of Muslims. Don't think so. But since you are so wise, dear Daisy, let's assume that it is. With a wave of your wand, it's done...all people opposed to the building of the mosque near Ground Zero hate Muslims.

Hmm, nope. Still not feeling it. Not feeling the guilt with which you so cavalierly hoped to cow us. In fact, you've rather freed up my thoughts.
If we who oppose the Ground Zero Mosque do so because we hate Muslims, one could ask who has a better right to hate Muslims than the good people of America? After what Muslims did to our country on September 11, 2001, what could be a more normal reaction?

So let's recap. All people who oppose the Ground Zero Mosque hate Muslims. This hatred would be a normal reaction to the murders of innocent Americans and others via terror attacks planned and perpetrated by Muslims on September 11, 2001. Ergo, said American people should be thrilled to have a mosque celebrating the religion of said Muslim terrorists built near Ground Zero. Got it.

Whew...that was close. I was laboring under the misapprehension that a mosque built so close to Ground Zero would be in very bad taste. Kind of like a serial killer who feels powerful because the bodies of his victims are buried close by. But it couldn't be anything like that, now could it? If it were, you and the other proponents of this mosque would be determined to have it built there and only there...oh, wait. You are.

So it's just plain old bigotry and Islamaphobia on our side, not cold calculation and stealth jihad on your side, right Ms Khan? Thanks for clearing that one up for me. And don't stop talking, Daisy...you're helping me understand more than you could possibly know.

This Is What It's All About, Charlie Brown

For me, the desire...no, the determination, not to have the mosque built so close to Ground Zero boils down to this YouTube audio. You lose nothing if the mosque is not built. But those who do care will have to see that concrete and steel celebration of the "religion of peace" everyday.
I have a husband and children. I can't even imagine how sad and sickening it would be to live everyday knowing what my husband or child went through before they died on 911, and then to have to turn around and see that building. It is too much to ask.
Mr. Bloomberg, Ms Pelosi, and all you others who do not care if the 911 families have to live that way, I hate you with a passion I've never felt before, and I hate you even more for making me feel that way about you.
You do not care if the mosque is built near Ground Zero because you can't care enough about anything to hurt like these people will hurt if this thing is built.I would feel sorry for you if you didn't use that coldness as a battering ram of superiority against other people.

Yes, you'd get to pat yourself on the back everytime you looked at that building, and that is enough for you. You'd get to call yourself tolerant, and enlightened, and all those other words people who can't truly feel anything call themselves as cover.

Your sad little game of pick me, pick me has to stop now. This is too important to too many people. And you are not. I'm asking you to step aside and let us fight this thing. Mayor Bloomberg of New York City does not seem to like the citizens of his city, at least those of the non-Muslim persuasion. Now, I don't have any proof, just anecdotal information that mounts up in that direction.

I am not a New Yorker, but I read from time to time about the ups and downs and goings on in your fair city. No smoking, okay...no salt, maybe okay...no this, no that...no tolerance for the feelings of New Yorkers who lived through the 911 terrorist attacks and don't want to have to look at a huge structure glorifying the "religion" of those terrorists . Okay, now we've got a problem.

I first became aware of the peculiar nature of your Mayor (besides the weird salt thing) after the failed New York City Times Square bombing. Mr. Mayor hypothesized that the would be bomber was probably some nutty right-winger who didn't want to wear the yoke of Obamacare. When that delusion was shattered, and it seemed likely that a muslim had parked that car there, Mr. Bloomberg went ballistic and warned the people of New York...you know, the average American joes who elected him in the first place (for the third time, but that's another story) not to take any action against muslims in revenge. In other words, Little Big Man stated that there would be no backlash against the muslims by New Yorkers.

The Mayor seemed (at least to me) singularly unconcerned about how the general citizenry might feel. His main objective seemed to be to protect the lives and tender feelings of the muslims in the city. Did any of you New Yorkites find that the least bit peculiar? Well, I did on your behalf.

And now Mr. Mayor is at it again. The Times Square Bomber was the prototype for the Monster Mosque that is to be built near Ground Zero. You remember, that place where 3,000 people died some years ago due to the muslim terrorist attacks? Bloomberg's famed and self-proclaimed tolerance for the building of the "Islamic Center" against the express wishes of the majority of polled citizens of New York City shows where his love lies. And it's not with you guys, you silly average New Yorkers, but with the very people who adhere to the very doctrine that caused that huge bloody hole in New York City. You know, the one where the World Trade Center towers used to stand? Yep, that hole.

Bloomberg reminds me of the mother of a serial killer; the one who keeps telling the police what a sweet boy her son is while the stink of the dismembered bodies buried in the basement surrounds her. That stink is on you, Mr. Bloomberg, and your sweet words of tolerance and ridiculous crocodile tears cannot make what you're doing smell any better.

I guess what I'm saying is that this mosque situation doesn't pass the smell test. In fact, it reeks. I think, perhaps, that there is a story there. I think that some enterprising journalist might find the story of a lifetime if he chose to look into the facts of this Ground Zero mosque matter. Where are Woodward and Bernstein when you need them? Oh, yeah, busy kissing our president's nether regions.

Oh, well, just forget it then. I mean, we're told everyday that Islam is a peaceful religion, so it must be. And we all know that the tolerance of the muslim faithful is legendary, beheaded bodies and women being stoned to death not withstanding. And I hear that Sharia Law isn't all that bad if you just go ahead and submit...ain't that right, Mr. Bloomberg?

No hablo Ingles!

Is anybody else sick and tired of presidents, congressmen, judges choosing sides with anybody else but American citizens? The Feds won't protect Arizona, and now a judge refuses to allow the state to protect itself?Yes, I'm tired and discouraged, but I'll be back tomorrow in full force. We American citizens, the unloved stepchildren of this country, will all be back tomorrow. Angrier tomorrow than today.I've laughed at people who suggest a new Revolution is coming. I am not laughing today. We are all going to have to make our choice soon. If November 2, 2010 doesn't go well for our country, we may be out of other options. Sorry to say it, but there it is.

In light of Judge Bolton's ruling in the Arizona immigration lawsuit, I'm trying to tamp down my anger by finding creative ways to psyche the Feds out. The first that comes to mind is to ditch all my identification, all those precious documents awarded me due to my birth here in America some years ago.

I will then travel to Arizona in my beloved '86 Caddy, managing somehow to do it on other taxpayer's dime (as is the preferred method of the Obama Admin, ya know) and ride around until I break the law. When confronted, I shall shrug and say "no hablo Ingles". If they dare question my veracity due to my blond hair and blue eyes, I shall hit them with "f*** you, I demand a lawyer", and charge head-on into charges of racism. By the time I scream for the ACLU, I might own the city of Phoenix. What a load of fun.
Americans, we just have to face the fact that the people running this country at this time do not like us very much, and seek to replace us. The question is, are we going to allow that...yes, allow. You see, we are the real bosses in this country, we're just so beaten down right now we have forgotten that fact. Between you and me and the lamp post, I think it's just about time we remember.

Must Read Of The Day

Michelle Malkin » The National Association for the Advancement of Coddled People
"Yes, the NAACP has been lost in space for quite some time now. And blaming whitey will no longer cut it."

Well, it's finally happening. Since the advent of the Great Society of the 1960's, the NAACP and other "social justice" organizations have pushed and shoved the rest of America until we didn't have any more room to back up. It's long past time to step forward and start pushing back.

You know, I can go for simply hours, or even days without thinking about the black community and what I can do to poke them in the eye. What I am and what I ought to be is not tied up with what they think about me and my world. It truly is NOT all about them all the time.

So, according to King Shabazz Shabazz Shabazz or whatever, blacks have been begging the white man for their freedom for simply forever. Sorry, little man, many white people died fighting to give you your freedom over a hundred years ago. You just haven't done anything with it. If you are an American failure story, you have only yourself to blame.

We can't understand what it's like to be black in America? Well, guess what, you can't understand what it's like to be white. Blamed for everything and billed for it all. No, uh uh, not anymore.

Go ahead and scream racism, that formerly most powerful of put downs. The word is now a joke worthy of Leno and Letterman, and the NAACP members, among others, are the ones who wrote that comedy script.

As a fine columnist once wrote, when Mr. Obama was elected President of the United States, white guilt died. Let's bury it by standing up for ourselves.

Wednesday Whiskey Musings...Did I Spell That Right?

I love you, Lame Cherry. I read your blog daily and it seems to be a stream of consciousness dialogue with yourself, although you are more knowledgeable than most. I am internally fighting for my country even though I have one child who is an Obamazombie, and one who couldn’t care less. How did this happen? Patriotic music makes me cry and my Americaness was on display the whole time they were growing up…perhaps that is the problem. Sometimes I just want to shake the Obamazombie, but he/she is coming around on his/her own. This July 4, two days past, she screamed the National Anthem at the top of her lungs so the firecracker firers in the next block could hear her. I haven’t put mustaches on the Obama “hope and change” bumper sitcker on her car, although the temptation has been great…but it is now sun-bleached and faded, bird pooped and cracked, and no replacement has been suggested by my errant child. There is a God.

Yes, once again it is Wednesday, and I have imbibed enough delicious whiskey (R&R) and coke to speak on this keyboard. Not just any black man. A very liberal black man who spent his early career race-hustling banks, praying in a racist church for 20 years, and actively worked with America-hating domestic terrorists. Wow! Some resume! Yet they made Barack Obama their leader. Therefore, as of Nov 4th, 2008, white guilt is dead.

For over a century, the millstone of white guilt hung around our necks, retribution for slave-owning predecessors. In the 60s, American liberals began yanking that millstone while sticking a fork in the eye of black Americans, exacerbating the racial divide to extort a socialist solution. But if a black man can become President, exactly what significant barrier is left? The election of Barack Obama absolutely destroys the entire validation of liberal white guilt. The dragon is hereby slain.

So today, I’m feeling a little “uppity,” if you will. From this day forward, my tolerance level for having my skin color hustled is now exactly ZERO. And it’s time to clean house. No more Reverend Wright’s “God Damn America ,” Al Sharpton’s Church of Perpetual Victimization , or Jesse Jackson’s rainbow racism. Cornell West? You’re a fraud. Go home. All those “black studies” programs that taught kids to hate whitey? You must now thank Whitey. And I want that on the final.

Congressional Black Caucus? Irrelevant. Maxine Waters? Shut up. ACORN? Outlawed. Black Panthers? Go home and pet your kitty. Black separatists? Find another nation that offers better dreams. Go ahead. I’m waiting.

Gangsta rappers? Start praising America . Begin with the Pledge of Allegiance. And please…no more ebonics. Speak English, and who knows where you might end up? Oh, yeah…pull up your pants. Your underwear is showing. You look stupid.

To those Eurosnots who forged entire careers hating America ? I’m still waiting for the first black French President.

And let me offer an equal opportunity whupping. I’ve always despised lazy white people. Now, I can talk smack about lazy black people. You’re poor because you quit school, did drugs, had three kids with three different fathers, and refuse to work. So when you plop your Colt 45-swilling, Oprah watchin’ butt on the couch and complain “Da Man is keepin’ me down,” allow me to inform you: Da Man is now black. You have no excuses.

No more quotas No more handouts. No more stealing my money because someone’s great-great-great-great grandparents suffered actual pain and misery at the hands of people I have no relation to, and personally revile.

It’s time to toss that massive, obsolete race-hustle machine upon the heap of the other stupid 60s ideas. Drag it over there, by wife swapping, next to dope-smoking. Plenty of room right between free love and cop-killing. Careful…don’t trip on streaking. There ya go, don’t be gentle. Just dump it. Wash your hands. It’s filthy.

In fact, Obama’s ascension created a gargantuan irony. How can you sell class envy and American unfairness when you and your black wife went to Ivy League schools, got high-paying jobs, became millionaires, bought a mansion, and got elected President? How unfair is that??? Now, Like a delicious O’Henry tale, Obama’s spread-the-wealth campaign rendered itself moot by it’s own victory! America is officially a meritocracy. Obama’s election has validated American conservatism!

So, listen carefully…Wham!!!That’s the sound of my foot kicking the door shut on the era of white guilt. The rites have been muttered, the carcass lowered, dirt shoveled, and tombstone erected. White guilt is dead and buried.

However, despite my glee, there’s apparently one small, rabid bastion of American racism remaining. Black Americans voted 96% for Barack Obama. Hmmm. In a color-blind world, shouldn’t that be 50-50? Tonight, every black person should ask forgiveness for their apparent racism and prejudice towards white people. Maybe it’s time to start spreading the guilt around."

Sir Elton John Is Quite A Man

Still tasting the foul flavor of elderly Beatle Paul McCartney's love speech to our Prez? But you came out by the thousands...I'll take it. You are officially back on my worry list.

And Pamela Geller is my new role model.

And Fox News is on my temporary hold list because of all people, I thought they would be interested in this protest...apparently not.

And Mayor Bloomberg has joined the "sissified appeasers" club (being a member of which is a felony in Alabama) along with our Prez Mr. Obama.

Sidenote to the Prez: Please, Mr Obama, we don't ask much. And minus the big 'ole donkey grin.

Must Read Of The Day
http://www.americanthinker.com/2010/06/barack_obama_let_them_eat_tar.html

"Meanwhile, down on the coast, there were no dazzled and dazzling Washington Post reporters recording the tears of the boat captain who, when asked about the future, replied, I don't know -- my life, my boat, it is all gone."

What a talent, to be able to write so well when one is so angry. However...

New Yorkers, what is the matter with you people? We Southerners have taken a lot of guff from you Yankees over the years as you felt yourselves to be the superior people and all that. But, after last night, I don't want to hear another word out of you. You have officially lost the right to call us slow, and stupid, and uneducated after your placid acceptance of the sneaky planning commission vote to allow the mosque within site of the hole where the twin towers used to stand.

People of New York City, you have the reputation for being rude, and aggressive. And you are… the world expects it of you. I also expected to see people pour out of their homes and businesses after the July 27 meeting to help stop the building of this monstrosity near Ground Zero. But when I checked the news this morning there was nothing. Nothing. Did I mention there was nothing?

So guts are reserved for the South and the state of Arizona, huh? Well, I say fine. Let them build their d**n mosque. They can have New York. The terrorists certainly picked the right city to attack. How did they know that a mere nine years after the mass murders they would be able to build a mosque near the killing field so they could smile down on the devastation?

And don't tell me that’s not what they want to do. Why else would such a supposedly “peaceful religion” choose to build their house of worship (well, that phrase certainly sticks in the throat, doesn't it?) to overshadow where the ghosts of the 9/11 dead are still squirming?

New Yorkers, I will no longer lose sleep over you. I have spent nine years suffering with you, and worrying about you, and praying for you and being proud when you bounced back, but if you don't take to the streets by the millions on September 11, 2010 to protest this shadily financed mosque being built near where the terrorists tried to take us all down...well, then, I'll just have to concede that all hope for you is lost.

Maybe Mayor Bloomberg is right. Maybe you New Yorkers shouldn't be allowed to choose where you will smoke, or what you will eat, or how much salt you will consume. Maybe he just sees you for the sheep that you are.

There's not much to be proud of in my state right now. We were poor before the crash and we are poorer now. Okay, so maybe we're poor and slow and stupid in your eyes, but I can state with complete confidence that this acceptance of a quiet takeover by Islam would never have happened here. Never.

Hey, New York, suddenly I'm feeling like the superior person.

Great Expectations

Hillbuzz
Someone In The National Media Is Finally Interested In Man's Country In Andersonville
"This has to be cloak-and-dagger for the time being, because though we’ve not been sworn to secrecy on the project, we’re not at liberty to talk in depth about what we did yesterday, which was in response to one of the occasional requests we get from members of the media for background info on stories they’re doing."

Maybe one of the MSM is doing a story, and maybe he's just been sent there to find out who to silence next. My problem is with what he and his minions could possibly have done to keep it from coming to light.

That's the story.

Until it is written, I refuse to let that little light of hope that the MSM will return to the American people get in the way of my cynicism and downright hatred of the "journalists" who betrayed us during the election of 2008.

Hillbuzz Boys, take care. Nobody without wealth talks about redistributing wealth because it's like some foreign entity and how can you seek to redistribute something you've never even been near enough to smell?

Why don't these guys have "Redistribute the Wealth" parties instead of those charity and political fundraisers they are constantly attending? Mr. Obama has outdone himself in the pissing me off department. When I left you last he had just called together his Muslim outreach party while the people of Arizona struggled to make sense of their world. This man just keeps sailing along on our dime while sticking his finger in our eye.

You all know what I'm talking about, right? Oil slick day one this, and Wall Street stinks that, and by the way, it's time to give blanket amnesty to all those who poured across the Mexican border before Arizona came to its senses. Oh, and did you know those crazy Arizonians will harass you if you try to buy ice cream for your kids?

I have egg on my face from two years ago. Barack Obama's name came up as a viable candidate for president of these great United States. I said, and I quote..."No way this country will elect a man with a name like that after what Muslims did to us on 911." See what I mean? That was practically a facial omelet.

Who are you, Mr. Obama? Where did you come from? What do you want? The Media formerly known as Trusted was supposed to gather all the facts and tell the American people who you were. Not so this time. I suspect not ever again.

If I'd wanted to live in Bizarroworld I would have moved there lock, stock and barrel. I didn't, and yet here I am magically transported to this Land of Oz where nothing that made sense makes sense. Mr. Obama, you lied to us. Our "watchdog media" lied to us. Other countries sang your praises and lied to us...we lied to us. And all we did to deserve this boot on the throat was to survive and thrive after the devastating attacks on 911.

I noticed that the "days left in Obama's presidency" ticker has finally fallen below a thousand. You know, the second wife of King Henry VIII, Anne Boleyn, lasted a thousand days before Hal managed to rid himself of her. I say, if King Hal can wait it out, so can I.

Hope is a sad thing when it rots on the vine, isn't it?

I'd have to say Mr. Obama did not handle this Arizona immigration law thing well. His statements put him squarely on the side of the illegal immigrants and NOT on the side of the beleaguered American citizens in the state of Arizona. Color me so surprised...oops, is that a racist statement? Are we allowed to say color anymore? Must check...whew, I think I'm okay.

Anyway, back to what I was saying. First he fails said Arizonians by not protecting the border, despite, as I understand it, several requests from the Governor herself, then he castigates and scolds them when they try to protect themselves. So wrong in so many ways. At least, it seems so to those with a modicum of brain power.

And then what does he do next? Hosts a summit to encourage Muslim entrepreneurship. Say, what? What the prez has managed to do in one short year is to make the American people feel unimportant...unimportant to him and to the rest of the world.

So, where are we, America? Rendered obsolete in our own land, allowed to stay and work so we can support people from other countries who have decided that, yeah, that's okay with them? But before they will allow us to pay their bills, we have to change our language to theirs, and maybe our religion, too? Where are we?

I don't know if the prez was born in this country or not...it's too late to care. The important thing now is to elect enough Republicans in November 2010 to keep him in check until we can dump him in 2012. So that's where we are now, guys and gals. Find out who is running for office in your state. Accept no fakes, ringers or RINOs. I just know America is out there somewhere, waiting patiently for us to come find her.

Consider this an Amber Alert for America. Our girl is stuck in a trunk somewhere restrained with duct tape. Don't despair, America, we're coming.

What's left to say?

I've been quiet for awhile...expecting a new load of whiskey this evening.

So the liberals are worried about the violent backlash are they? What I'm worried about is their weak-kneed reaction to the anger from a disappointed American people. Does it make anyone else a little uneasy that these "frightened" lawmakers are the people who are supposed to keep us all safe from terrorists and other foul smelling citizens of the world?

And the hypocrisy...(insert George Takei "Oh, My!" here.) Mr. Stupak stated that his life was a living hell before he voted yes on the health care bill. Who made his life a living hell at that time? Do we have any telephone messages from that time for comparison purposes? I'd be willing to bet, just based on the hatred spewed from the left during the Bush years, that those messages were of a more vile nature than anything the MSM has publicized thus far coming from the conservative side. "A lot of people out here wish you ill"? Wow...what is this, Junior High?

Come on, you whimpering pantywaists, pull it together. You advertise yourselves as the brave representatives who chose to vote against your constituents' wishes...act like it. So your attempt to enslave the American populace under one-party rule hasn't gone down our gullet as quietly as you thought it would...explain it. You had the chance to stop Mr. Obama, Mr. Reid and Ms. Pelosi and the radical agenda they have in mind for our country but you didn't...live with it.
Yes, we're angry. So for once in your sorry over-paid, over-protected lives come out here and face the American people. Take your lumps.
